Mark 6 Friday what did people get right and wrong

The first group of people we encounter in Mark 6 provides a grave warning, we can be so familiar with Jesus that we fail to see Him for Who He is. If we aren't careful, we can let our view become myopic through putting Jesus in a "prayer answerer" box or a "comforter" box or other limiting factors. We can also let His nearness and presence lull us into ignoring His transcendence and holiness.
Right responses seen in Mark 6 include the disciples participation in the work of ministry and John the Baptist's faithfulness.
Mark contains an abbreviated account of Jesus walking on the water and the discussion of the bread. In both cases, fear and no understanding are seen as poor responses to Christ.

Each time people (including us) have something that happens in their life, they can either respond in faith which pleases God or in unbelief, fear, or without understanding which doesn't center our lives on Christ. Our investigating what they did helps inform what we should do, which we will look at tomorrow.
